Jeff Lettes, as principal of Global Media Strategy Jeff is integrally involved with each client, retaining an active, hands-on approach in everything from the creation of a plan to the execution initiatives. He also serves as communications director of client Silicon Valley Association of Startup Entrepreneurs (SVASE) http://www.svase.com and is a member of the Clean Tech Open. Most recently, Jeff launched and directed internal, external, executive and web communications for solar startup OptiSolar. Following OptiSolar’s announcement with PG&E to build the world’s largest Photovoltaic (PV) solar project Jeff established Global Media Strategy.
An entrepreneur at heart, Jeff founded Global Media Strategy following a 25-year career inside the entertainment industry and some of the world’s leading startups, Fortune 500 companies, and PR agencies, where he developed and implemented high-impact corporate, product and executive-level communications programs.
In addition to managing public relations at various agencies for dozens of technology and professional services clients, Jeff has served as Oracle’s VP of Corporate Communications and Applied Materials’ director of worldwide media relations. He has also directed product PR for Informix’s traditional database and tools. On the agency side, he has driven communications for such companies as Alliare, ActiveIdentity, Blues Alley, Inc., Chevron, D.C. Government, Ernst & Young Consulting, Oak Technology, and OptiSolar, as well as worked with various performers, entertainment agencies and record companies.

Odette Faghani is a creative, and bottom-line focused PR sales executive Odette brings a strong focus on growing business for GMS and our clients. She advises on the development of powerful sales programs, materials and training that help to empower their salesfoce to ‘close the deal’. One of Odette’s unique differentiators is her significant experience in the use of social media and targeting sales strategies to reach customers and financial markets around the world.
Graduating Syracuse S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication, Odette began her career at global communications firm Grey Advertising in New York , moved to the San Jose Mercury News to take on sales during the Silicon Valley tech boom of the ’90s and most recently headed the west coast sales force for PR Newswire.
Tom Stein, Editorial
Tom Stein has a long history as as financial journalist and editor specializing in the story behind many of Silicon Valley’s most successful tech companies, startups, venture capitalists, and other significant deal makers. He is well known for his ability to capture the power and essence of the personality, strategy and success of many of Silicon Valley’s best known personalities and business leaders. In addition to being a popular blogger Tom has interviewed some of Silicon Valley’s most notable business luminaries and contributed to leading business and general interest publications, including Wired Magazine, Business 2.0, Venture Capital Journal, and Tennis Magazine.
Austin Anderson, Video
Austin Anderson is a talented and experienced producer in both the independent film and commercial video realms. This wonderful multi-dimensional viewpoint has provided Austin with powerful vision and expertise as a producer spanning corporate video, television, commercials, web content development, and music videos.
In addition to his role with GMS, Austin is the Chief Executive Producer and co-founder of Splice Pictures. A graduate of the San Francisco Academy of the Arts, Austin got his start in feature production at Continuum Pictures, an independent production company based in Los Angeles. During his six years at Continuum Pictures, he was involved with every aspect of production on a multitude of projects from commercials, promotional videos, music videos, short films, live events, animation and above all feature films.
